Compare the actual room occupancy offered. “Family-friendly” alone does not tell you whether a cot, extra bed or separate bedroom is available.

A short connection between station, hotel and your destination saves energy. Choose one main activity each day and allow time for play and food breaks.

Ask the hotel directly about lifts, luggage storage and the right room category. For apartments, check the kitchen facilities too.
